Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist will facilitate internal and external communication and is responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance Frontier’s image and position within the marketplace. It is extremely important that this individual understands the financial services industry and can easily communicate across a diverse client base using various platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES:

  • Create communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout Frontier, which will drive company culture
  • Work alongside Management Team to gain insight into Frontier and the industry and then use that knowledge to tell our story
  • Absorb employee feedback and, in turn, articulate it back to Management to make feedback actionable
  • Champion of our Strategic Plan as well as Core Values, Vision and Purpose
  • Work alongside Frontier team members to enhance and foster a robust client experience
  • Oversee tasks and responsibilities of Frontier’s Marketing Assistant (social media, blog, graphic design, website, etc.)
  • Develop communications materials/tools to facilitate organic growth among Frontier Advisors
  • Manage company brand and reputation
  • Develop branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relations
  • Monitor the effectiveness of our communications strategies by developing appropriate metrics
  • Manage and organize client events

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five years of experience with at least three years in the financial services industry
  • Keen ability to consume information and use it to tell a story
  • An influencer with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • High level of team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Team player, results driven, “get-it-done” attitude
