Tax Specialist (Kansas City)

Frontier is a registered investment advisory firm that offers a comprehensive range of financial services and advice to high net-worth clients throughout the United States. The Tax Specialist will support the firm by preparing and tax returns for high-net-worth clients. The Tax Specialist will also support our Senior Wealth Advisors, of which a few are CPAs, and clients by offering knowledge and expertise to solve complex tax planning situations. 

 

Responsibilities/Roles:

  • Prepare individual, corporate, trust, gift and estate, and partnership returns 

  • Support Senior Wealth Advisors with complex tax planning strategy in efforts to maintain and enhance our proactive, high-touch client service experience 


Qualifications/Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree 
  • Certified Public Accountant with 2 years of relevant experience in individual, gift and estate, and trust taxation 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Client-facing experience
  • Ability to think and execute at both a detailed and high-level 
  • Team player, results driven, “get-it-done” attitude 

Bonus Qualifications / Skills:

  • Big 4 or Large regional/national firm experience 
  • Master’s in Taxation 
  • Partnership and S-Corporation experience 
  • Lacerte software experience 
  • Quickbooks experience
