Deann (Shinkle) Mitchell joined Frontier with nearly 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Having started in the industry as an assistant to a very successful female advisor, Deann was inspired and wanted to follow in her mentor’s path. Her practice focuses on women’s wealth management and divorce/transition financial planning.
“I enjoy working with women because of the deep relationships I build. I care deeply and want to advocate for women. I can relate to just about any situation a woman has been in or is going through. Women need someone on their team, especially when going through a divorce or dealing with the loss of a loved one. I can help make calm out of chaos.”
Deann enjoys being involved in many civic and philanthropic pursuits. She is an active member in Central Exchange and a board member for the Hospitalized Veterans Writing Project. In 2012, Deann was appointed by Governor Sam Brownback as a board member of the Kansas Credit Union Council, and in 2016, she was appointed to the Governor’s Behavioral Health Services Planning Council.
She has earned the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
