Chief Investment Strategist
As the firm’s Senior Investment Strategist, John conducts in-depth macroeconomic research and financial market analysis to support the asset-allocation and portfolio strategy process across the investment platform. In this capacity, John also provides frequent thought leadership to both internal and external constituencies through a variety of mediums, in addition to serving as Chair of the firm’s Investment and Policy Committee.

Prior to joining Frontier, John was a Vice President and Investment Strategist at Bessemer Trust in New York, where he was a member of the Investment Committee and helped to develop the asset-allocation strategy for approximately $75 billion in high-net-worth family assets. Before Bessemer, John was a member of the Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he advised senior policy officials on market expectations for U.S. monetary policy. Prior to the Federal Reserve, John held various roles at both Goldman Sachs in New York and Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston. Before John’s career in finance, he spent six years in the United States Army, serving with distinction during the 2003 Iraq War.
John holds an MPA from Columbia University with a concentration in International Economic Policy, an MBA from Suffolk University with a concentration in International Business, and an undergraduate degree in business administration from Framingham State University.
Outside of the office, John and his wife Annie enjoy all things outdoors, including mountain biking, kayaking, snowboarding, hiking, and some light gardening.
