Roger Hindman

Strategic Wealth Coach

Roger joined Frontier Wealth Management (formerly Comprehensive Personal Financial Advisors) in September 2010 as a Strategic Wealth Coach. Roger retired from PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) on June 30, 2010. He was with PwC for 37 years and served in a variety of roles within the firm.

Although a tax partner by background, specializing in individual and corporate taxation, he spent many years providing an array of personal financial planning services to the firm’s clients using technology based software solutions and training workshops. He was responsible for writing three books on retirement planning, the last one titled “Secure Your Future: Your Personal Companion for Understanding Lifestyle & Financial Aspects of Retirement” (Irwin Professional Publishing).

Roger fulfilled many geographic assignments for PwC with his family residing in Cleveland and Dayton, Ohio; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; and New York, NY. For his last 10 years prior to retirement, he was the firm’s National Benefits Leader for its 30,000 US-based employees and 2,200 partners. He developed many new personal financial planning software applications and education programs for partners and staff to enhance their understanding of the role the firm’s benefits play in achieving personal finance security. For the Firm’s partners, he conceptualized and developed a new role as their Wealth Accumulation & Wealth Protection leader.

From 2002 through his retirement, Roger was the chairman of the firm’s Qualified Retirement Plans Trustees. In this capacity, his primary responsibility was guiding the investment choices and options for nearly $6 billion of investments.

While with PwC, Roger held professional designations as a Certified Public Account (CPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).

Today, in addition to providing part-time guidance to Frontier, Roger and his wife, Merrilee, balance their time between Carbondale, CO, and Chautauqua, NY. Roger is an avid outdoor hunter and golfer, and a budding sailor on Chautauqua Lake, NY.
